Bespoke jewelry is the treasure trove of the jewelry world. The process of creating custom jewelry is both an art and a science, requiring careful consideration of design elements, materials, and personal significance. My bespoke process ensures that your special piece is not only aesthetically pleasing but also one of the most meaningful objects you will treasure forever.
Virtual Meeting
The first step in the design process is a virtual meeting. This initial consultation serves as a foundation for understanding your vision. During this meeting, you articulate your design preferences, including color schemes, gemstone choices, and budget requirements. This dialogue is crucial, as it allows me to align my creative direction with your expectations. I will answer any questions you have and provide creative ideas to elevate the design. Custom projects can take anywhere from 6-12 weeks depending on the project.
Sourcing
Following the virtual meeting, I will begin sourcing the selected gemstones. This step is critical, as the quality and characteristics of the gemstones will drive the final design and mechanics of the jewelry. My sourcing process includes evaluating various suppliers to ensure that the gemstones meet standards in terms of ethical sourcing, color, clarity, and cut.
Once the gemstones are sourced, I will share sketches and 3D designs with you as required. This is exciting as it allows you to see detailed visualizations of how our collaborative ideas could come to life.
Throughout this process, the emphasis remains on collaboration. Clients are encouraged to provide feedback at each stage, ensuring that the final piece is a true reflection of their vision. My goal is always to create jewelry that is aesthetically beautiful and also tells your story as you wear it close to the heart. Once you approve the final design, engravings and stones, we will begin production.
Production
Creating your bespoke piece may involve wax carving, hand-setting stones or artisan enameling. I can provide you with photo and video updates throughout this process. It's so exciting to see the different stages of jewelry being made!
Once the piece is created, it will go through a final quality check and any necessary adjustments will be made. After quality check, the piece will be ready to make its way to you.
Delivery
Your bespoke piece will be presented to you thoughtfully and with care. This can be an emotional moment filled with anticipation.
