Story
Hi, I’m Megha. My love for jewelry began in 5th grade when I made elaborate necklaces with faceted beads and colored cords. My creations often violated the school uniform policy but I took that as encouragement. Wearing my own jewelry was my strongest form of self-expression.
Later, I went into Social Impact Law and Corporate Philanthropy but my love of creating jewelry never left me. I’m happy and grateful that my path brought me back to creating jewelry, this time with precious gemstones and 18K Yellow Gold. I am thrilled to tell my story through metal and share my love of my Indian heritage, spirituality and craftsmanship with you.
My Indian heritage is the main inspiration for my work. Whether it’s sourcing fair trade gemstones or the symbolism behind the Triya collection, I love unraveling the mysteries of our vast tradition through solid 18K Yellow Gold and precious gems. My study of Indian archaeology, philosophy and love for ancient Yogic wisdom inspire my collections as well as my bespoke work. My personal Yoga practice, both as a forever student and teacher inform the theory behind my work. I strive to translate esoteric ideas, for example, the three energies present in the cosmic universe, into gold. I hope to provide you with exquisite fine jewelry that is just as beautiful as the eternal stories behind them.
Thank you for supporting my work and please reach out directly to me for any inquiries, info@meghatiwarijewelry.com.
